Toastmasters Settings

To keep your Toastmasters website functioning correctly, you should periodically review the Settings screens at the bottom of the administrator’s dashboard. The most important screens related to agenda management and Toastmasters functionality are highlighted below.

RSVPMaker is the WordPress plugin used for event management and event registration (RSVPs). The Toastmasters and TM Application & Dues screens are more specific to Toastmasters business. In both cases, the settings screens let you turn on optional features and set content defaults.

Setting your Officers list on the Toastmasters screen (associating officer roles with WordPress accounts) is necessary for the role-based email forwarders like demo-president@toastmost.org to and other functions specific to different officer roles to function. You can also set automated meeting role reminders from this screen, and turn on many other optional features.

The RSVPMaker screen is where you can set the defaults for new events, such as whether RSVPs should be collected and, if so, what form users should see and what confirmation message they should receive after a successful registration.
