Creating and Switching Event Templates

In addition to your standard agenda event template, you can have multiple alternate templates and switch between them. For example, if you will be holding a contest at your regular meeting time, you might want to have a Contest template or a Table Topics Contest template that you apply in place of your regular meeting template.

The Switch Template menu option under Edit RSVP Event will take you to the screen where you can make that switch. Not that there is also a menu item that says New Template Based on Event. If you just finished running a contest and want to preserve your customizations, click there to create a new event template based on that event.

You can also create templates or switch templates from the Create/Update screen — see the menu item under RSVP Events on the administrator’s dashboard.
