When you create a new WordPress site at Toastmost, you can now bring the best elements of your existing website with you. It’s as easy as copying and pasting from your old home page on Free Toast Host or another service.
The importer:
- Cleans up HTML for better formatting and search engine optimization.
- Grabs images, fixing issues such as squished or stretched images in the process.
- Captures embedded media such as YouTube videos and Canva slideshows.

If you tried this before …
I recently became aware that the pervious version of this import tool stopped working because of technical changes to Free Toast Host. So if you tried it, and it didn’t work, that’s why.
In addition to addressing that issue, this version is new and improved in several respects, including better handling of YouTube videos. The import process may not be perfect, but it should give you a strong starting point for further developing your website in WordPress.
Shout out to online clubs
As mentioned in the video, I am hoping that some of the clubs participating in the online clubs directory — who set up a Toastmost password as part of that process — will see the value in switching. I’m a firm believer that an online club needs a strong online presence, and I want to help.
